Results of retrograde planet when it is combust?

Outer Planets Mars, Jupiter, Saturn etc. retrograde when they are in opposition with Sun. They are surely retrograde when they are 150 degrees to 210 degrees or 6,7,8 houses from Sun. These planets are combust when they are close to sun, say from 10 degrees to 13 degrees. However the inner planets Mercury and Venus are retrograde when they are in between Sun and Earth. Mercury and Venus are combust also when they are between Sun and Earth hence the condition of retrograde planets and combust planets us applicable only to Mercury and Venus.

 

Let us understand what will be the results of Mercury or Venus when they are in retro and combust Astrologically. According to Nadi Astrology a planet gives result of its Nakshatra and more profoundly of its sub lord. Its own results come bare minimum. Let us take an example of Aries Ascendant whereas Mercury is placed in Aries sign at 15 degrees and 54 minutes and Sun is at same degrees or we can say Mercury is in rapt conjunction and retrograde also. Now Mercury is placed in Venus Nakshatra (Bharani) and Sun’s sub lord whereas Venus is also at same degree. Henceforth result of Mercury will be as follows:

Such a Mercury will give results of 1,5 maximum and that 1,2,7 lesser and 1,3,6 the least. Now if Mercury is even direct it will give the same result. By direct I just want to say that Mercury will be on the other side of Sun to Earth.

What are the results of retrograde planets?

All the planets and heavenly bodies revolve round Sun which is a star. Earth also revolves round the Sun. Moon revolves round the Earth. When we see both Sun and Moon from Earth we find them moving at a direct motion always and is the motion is being repeated at regular intervals. All the planets like Mercury< Venus, Mars, Jupiter Saturn etc. also move round the Sun in regular intervals however nearest Mercury completes single round of the Sun earlier than the planets which are far from Sun according to the Kepler’s law. Now these planets appear to move in retrogression due to their relative motion with Earth from where we see them obviously.

Astrologers from a number of decades are researching and discussing on the results of retrograde planets. Scientifically, planets effect other planets and heavenly bodies by their gravitational pull. Astronomers say that Gravitational force is the strongest force heavenly bodies have. Astrologically planets give result of their Nakshatra and sub lord not the direction of their motion. Let us try to understand by two examples in which a planet is retrograde and is also direct in the same degree and analyse its result.  

 

Condition 1

Mercury is placed in Aries Ascendant, Aries sign at 14 degrees and 20 minutes and Sun is also in Aries. Now let us assume that Mercury is direct. Now Mercury is placed in Venus Nakshatra (Bharani) and Sun’s sub lord. Let us suppose that Venus is also in Aries. Result of Mercury will be as follows

Condition 2

Let us assume now that Mercury is now retrograde and the conditions are same as above. Result of Mercury will be the same:

Reason to this is that houses signified by planet Mercury are same in both the conditions.

Results of Retrograde Transit planets

Planetary transits are seen for pin pointing event precisely. Event happens when DBA signifies and event. If DBA does not signify an event only then event can not happen. Its no point checking transits if DBA does not signify event. For an example if we are trying to see an event say marriage then first of all we have to check DBA. If all three DBA planets signify marriage then marriage will happen in that DBA. However A or Antras are of months in some cases and to pin point marriage ( or any event) in day/ days we have to dwell in transit.

Hence first check DBA and then

Event will happen if

Any Three planets signifying event should either

• Firstly…….

1. Conjunct in a sign or
2. Mutually aspect each other or
3. Transit significator houses or
4. Aspect the signficator houses in Transit or
5. Transit over natal positions

• Secondly……

1.  A planet signifying an event transit over the other planet in natal horoscope with in a degree or
2. A planet signifying an event transit over cuspal degree of significator House with in a degree or
3. Conjunction of two significator planets in Transit within a degree

Lastly, it is important to know that if any of the transiting planets is stationary or retrograde it carries no meaning. When above conditions are fulfilled event will happen. There is no point seeing transit of one planet and there is no meaning of retro planets as such.

Remembering a workshop of astrology! What if exalted planet becomes retrograde?

I remember in 1997 summers a workshop was held by ICAS, Delhi on the above subject, what if exalted planet becomes retrograde? I was invited to speak on the subject by Sh. M. N. Kedar. There were prominent speakers including the students of astrology. My views had been clear and straightforward as always.

 I asked the audience, who were students and teachers of astrology.  Question was simple that are you sure about the results of exalted planets? Are you sure that person born with exalted Sun will always get benefits from Govt. Are you sure that such a Sun will give excellent results for all events of life may it be health, travel, marriage, litigation, assets purchase. Have you ever seen a person became head of state whereas Sun was exalted. Give one example. Remember all people born from 14 April to 15 May have exalted Sun. Do everyone will excel in politics, become IAS officer. You know Nehru became PM with weak Sun. Tell me one leader with exalted Sun. Everyone kept mum.

Now I said if Saturn is exalted do you believe that everyone with such a Saturn will excel in steel industry? Give just one example. So my dears when you are not sure about results of exalted planets how come you will be able to ever talk of retrograde planets? I continued do you know Lord Ram became king during debilitated Sun? Do you know Diwali is celebrated during neech Sun and Amavasya Moon. Do you know next day we celebrate Vishwakarma day/ Govardhan Puja and next to next day is Bhai dooj!

Then I explained everyone Planet gives the results of Nakshatra. Its simple to understand for example Moon is debilitated in Scorpio and for example it is in Anuradha Nakshatra. Ascendant is Aries. Results of Moon will be excellent in majority of cases. As in Anuradha Nakshatra, Moon will give results of Saturn i.e. 10,11 houses. Hence during period of Moon person will excel in profession.

Henceforth if everyone wants to dwell into predictive astrology understand this. If you want to want more accuracy take sub lord also for predictive results.
