Venus is an inner planet in the solar system which remains close to Sun as observed from the Earth. Venus cannot elongate more than 47 degrees from Sun. When a planet is extremely close to Sun it cannot be seen due to sun’s brilliance. This phenomenon is called combustion of planets. All the planets exercise gravitational pull to the Earth whether they are combust or not. When Venus is in between Earth and Sun and is combust it is retrograde also. When Venus is on the other side of Sun from Earth it moves fast (Atichari).
Results of planets are given according to the Nakshatra and sub lord they are placed in. Venus also gives results like this. I lay down certain examples to explain this:
For an example Venus is combust and is placed in First house in Aries Ascendant. As you know there are two and a quarter Nakshatras in every sign. First Naskhatra is Ashwini ( Ketu) up to 13 degrees 20 minutes , Second is Bharani ( Venus) upto 26 degrees 40 minutes and lastly Krittika ( Sun).
