Remembering a workshop of astrology! What if exalted planet becomes retrograde?

I remember in 1997 summers a workshop was held by ICAS, Delhi on the above subject, what if exalted planet becomes retrograde? I was invited to speak on the subject by Sh. M. N. Kedar. There were prominent speakers including the students of astrology. My views had been clear and straightforward as always.

 I asked the audience, who were students and teachers of astrology.  Question was simple that are you sure about the results of exalted planets? Are you sure that person born with exalted Sun will always get benefits from Govt. Are you sure that such a Sun will give excellent results for all events of life may it be health, travel, marriage, litigation, assets purchase. Have you ever seen a person became head of state whereas Sun was exalted. Give one example. Remember all people born from 14 April to 15 May have exalted Sun. Do everyone will excel in politics, become IAS officer. You know Nehru became PM with weak Sun. Tell me one leader with exalted Sun. Everyone kept mum.

Now I said if Saturn is exalted do you believe that everyone with such a Saturn will excel in steel industry? Give just one example. So my dears when you are not sure about results of exalted planets how come you will be able to ever talk of retrograde planets? I continued do you know Lord Ram became king during debilitated Sun? Do you know Diwali is celebrated during neech Sun and Amavasya Moon. Do you know next day we celebrate Vishwakarma day/ Govardhan Puja and next to next day is Bhai dooj!

Then I explained everyone Planet gives the results of Nakshatra. Its simple to understand for example Moon is debilitated in Scorpio and for example it is in Anuradha Nakshatra. Ascendant is Aries. Results of Moon will be excellent in majority of cases. As in Anuradha Nakshatra, Moon will give results of Saturn i.e. 10,11 houses. Hence during period of Moon person will excel in profession.

Henceforth if everyone wants to dwell into predictive astrology understand this. If you want to want more accuracy take sub lord also for predictive results.

Worth mentioning notable Chairperson started weeping that I had heard of NeechBhang and today Mr. Umang Taneja has now introduced Ucch Bhang!

Common man minus commonsense = Author of books of astrology

 Following is an example of the heading of this article 

why I say Common man minus commonsense = Author of books of astrology.

I went through following sloka and its translation

स्त्रीजातक / Female Astrology

स्वल्पं पयः भानुकुजः चतुर्थे, सौभाग्यशीलरहितां कुरुते शशांक।

Translation – If Sun and or Mars is posited in 4th house of a female’s horoscope; lady will develop lesser milk in her breasts. Moon in 4th house will lead to reduction in her prosperity and modesty.

A student of astrology goes through many such Slokas written in Astrological texts. He believes  it is correct as he is student and he can not equate his level of knowledge to an author of astrology.  However when you will apply commonsense to above sloka you will easily understand that the sloka is bogus.

Reason – how come a person can reach to the above conclusion? How can one measure the milk ?

Second part of sloka is also beyond commonsense as just placement of Moon is taken into consideration and consideration of other planets have been forgotton.

It is an advise to all the students of astrology believe in your self  and judge statements and slokas in astrological books by general commonsense as majority books written in Astrology are bogus and majority authors in this field are devoid of commonsense.

How to judge Strength of Ascendant

 

This is a big question unsolved by stalwarts of Astrology. Let us understand it

According to traditional astrology a house is considered strong if

It is aspected by benefics

Carries good planets like Jupiter however there is difference of opinion that where Jupiter sits destroys and where it aspects is good.

Its own lord is exalted, own house, moltrikone etc.

It has good number of bindus  

It is making a good yoga/ Raj Yoga

It is having good bala according to Bal a Bal Vichar (Strength of planets)

It is in good Navamsa

 so on and so forth.

 

Hence and Ascendant will be strong if

It is aspected by benefics

Now it is a evident you cannot have all the things right

You can not have Ascendant Lord exalted/ own house always. If you have you can have the same planet retro or Combust. It can be in Neech navamsa. It may be making a bad yoga etc. Results will always be mixed you can not have all the pts. positive. This confuses a student of Astrology. With my experience I can easily say this phrase “Strength of Ascendant” is impossible riddle to solve. It made for students of astrology by stalwarts of Astrology so that they remain confused always in learning astrology.

Vish Kanya

Vish Kanya refers to a girl/ lady who was used to kill an Emperor or a king or used to get the top secrets from the king or high officials. Such a girl bound to be attractive and open for sex. Prime objective used to be getting the secrets known using her sexual charms. Additionally she should have capability of killing the person after using him. She should also have dual nature as she was working for one king/ kingdom and show the faith or love to the other one. This love had not be the love obviously in actual. She used to be using the charms to get the job done. Combination of patriotism can also be there if the girl wants to do this job for love for motherland.

Call Girl

Combination 7,8,12 signifies many a things out of which one of the major signification is written below:

7 = Business

8 = Sex

12 = Bed

If majority of planets in a horoscope signify 7,8,12 then majority of DBA (Dasa periods) planets will have these combinations obviously. Hence 7,8,12 will give results of Business of Sex on Bed or commercial sex in nearly all the DBA’s or majority period in life.

Now in the above combination of 7,8,12 house 11 is missing hence the person involved does not gain much as 11th house is the house of profit or gain. Income will be higher in such a case when native attracts others more and more. For attraction 5th house is the main house in Astrology. Now, if the person/ lady is seen in media then she will be more in demand.  Media includes print media, electronic media viz. TV, social media, films, modelling etc. More in demand means more money. House of media is house no. 3 and combination of appearing in media or gain from media= 3,11.

In other words combination of 3,11 + 5 + 7,8,12 in majority of planets amounts to the lady who can earn good amount of money involving her privates. 

Death at the time of Marriage

This question comes into mind why some people die during marriage or near to the time of marriage. It happened when newly wed boy was murdered by hijackers of IC-814 Air India flight in the last week of December 1999. Its a normal news from western UP when accidently Baratis shoot the bridegroom and many a times we have heard this news that Barat coming after marriage meet with accident/ drwoned in river and majority of people get killed inclusing the newly wed couple.

Astrological reason is that the combination of marriage is 2,7,11 and if the marriage is done with pomp and show (expenditure) house numebr 12 get connected to it. When the marriage is done with pomp and show heavy dowry is obviously given to the couple and here comes the house number 8. Hence the whole combination is then

2,7,11,8,12.

2,7,11 = Marriage

8,11 = Dowry

And 12 = expenditure on pomp and show or luxuries or show off.

 

 

11^th house is badhak for movable Ascendants.

Now if 11^th is also badhak then death is more probable for people with Ascendant as Aries/ Cancer/ Libra/ Capricorn. This is because in the above combination 2,7,11,8,12.

2,7 are marak houses.

11 becomes badhak

8,12 = Death giving houses.

Combination 7,8,12 = murder or violent death.

Note – For other Ascendants the death is possible but movable Ascendant are more likely to die a violent  death during marriage since 11^th hosue is badhak. Badhak is first rate malefic for death.

Libra – Misunderstood and Misinterpreted sign

 

Libra is most misunderstood and misinterpreted sign of all. Teacher of astrology teach and books write that people born with Libra as Ascendant sign are balanced in nature. The practical experience is however totally opposite to this. Let us understand this. Libra is a movable and an airy sign. Had it been an Earthy sign and fixed one the person born would have been balanced in approach. Now as Libra is movable sign this implies that balance is not there. Fuel to the fire is added by airy characteristic which makes Libra more unstable or more unbalanced in nature.

Now million dollar question is that all the people born in Libra as there Ascendant would not loose there balance of mind. The answer to that is Libra is most likely to loose balance of mind of all the twelve signs. Person who will have Ascendant lord Venus or planet in Ascedant signify 6,8,12 will loose the mind frequently on petty issues. These people are most likely of being admitted to mental hospitals. However if Ascedant lord and planets in Ascendant in case of Libra do not signify 6 8 12 then native will not suffer from such a problem.

Mysterious Trine 4,8,12

 

In astrology Trinal houses have similar traits. For example

1,5,9 are considered to be good houses and have similar traits of education, intelligence, religious activities, happiness etc.

Similar to that Houses 4,8,12 have similar traits. The significances of these houses are as under.

4^th house – Mother, property, vehicle, education, hidden activities.

8^th house – unearned money, legacy, insurance money, PF, death, mysteries, hidden money,  dowry, Knowledge of history, archaeology, anthropology, occult sciences, astrology, Tantra, black magic,  sex, sexual activities, accident, chronic disease, disputes, death.

12^th house – expenditure, loss, hospitalisation, death, Moksha, hidden enemies, hidden activities.    Knowledge of occult sciences.

Now let us understand how they are related to each other.

8^th house is prime house of accident which gives loss or 12^th house and accident is more probable to happen from vehicle or 4^th house.

8^th house is disputes more so if it relates to house of loss 12 and disputes related to property, 4^th house are in common.

8^th house is chronic disease whereas 12^th house signifies loss/ hospitalisation and 4^th house being 12^th from 5^th (recovery from health) promotes further deterioration of health.

8, 12 houses are relate to sex and carnal pleasure respectively and 4^th house being Nadir house promotes these activities hidden.

Purchase of a property invites expenditure or the 12^th house and also the help of money many a times from friends/ parents/ other relatives.

Laxmi Sthan

 

Trines or 5th and 9^th Houses are called Laxmi Sthan. It gives a feeling that 5,9 houses give money. However when we see other houses significances they also provide wealth/ Money.

2 – Accumulated wealth.

6 –Job

7 – Business

10 – Name, fame and position.

11 – Gain.

Practically, 5^th house is house of love, spirituality, children, progeny, dharma and 9^th house signifies higher education, religion and long travel etc. 5^th house is 12^th from 6^th house whereas 9^th house is 12^th from 10^th house. Hence both the houses are negative to income or gain of money or wealth.

Now why 5^th and 9^th houses are considered Laxmi sthan.  As we know Astrology was designed by our sages and according to our sages real Laxmi or wealth is love to all, education, higher philosphy of life, Dharma, Knowledge, Moksha etc.

Let us understand what 5,9 house imply for various events of life.

Marriage and relationships – They are very good houses for good relationships and understanding as 5^th house is prime house of love and 9^th house is 5^th from 5^th.

Child birth – 5^th house is main house of children and 9^th is again 5^th from 5^th house.

Property & Vehicle – 5^th and 9^th house are neutral to the purchase of either property or vehicle.

Travel – 9^th house is main house of travel whereas 5^th being good health.

Health – 5^th hosue is house of good health 9^th is facilitator to that.

Profession and finance  – 5,9 houses are not positive for earning wealth as they are 12^th hosues to 6,10 houses respectively. Both the houses are also for spiritual success theerfore also they are not positive to wordly matters.

Litigation – Both the houses promote love and hence promote settlement of dispute between the parties with mutual consent.

Education – Both the houses are prime houses of education.

Looking into above discussion on the various events it would have been amply clear that the real Laxmi or wealth is disease free, dispute free life and love to all and not amassing wealth. 5,9 houses are also mot positive to purchase of assets as the assets are main point of disputes between people.

Sukh Sthan

 Fourth house in astrology signifies property, vehicle, education and mother. Normally this house is considered as “Sukh Sthan” as if it will give happiness/ comfort etc. Fourth house is for material comforts i.e. vehicle and property.  Now the question is fourth house is for material comfort but will it give eternal happiness also or not? Let is discuss.

Once you purchase vehicle, you have to buy insurance. This is for the reason if car meets with an accident or any mishap you need to get back the insurance money. Hence while purchasing a vehicle you purchase fear with it. Similarly property is one of the major reasons of “Grah Kalah” or infighting in houses. Property does not buy home always.  One of the best examples is Aurangzeb killing his brothers and arresting his father for property.

It was our sages who designed Astrology. According to them eternal happiness is given by House number 5. House number 5 is for love, spirituality, dharma etc. Fourth house is prime house of education. Let us go through the following dictum

Pothi pad pad jag mua pandit bhayo na koye

Dhai akhar prem k pado so pandit hoye…

 

 

Fourth house gives education but fifth house is intelligence, eternal happiness and application. Similarly 5^th house may not give property but it gives home, love, good relationship and good health. If 5^th house is actively participating in the dasa period native is happy, dharmic and eternally happy and loves all.

Therefore 5^th house in actual sense gives “sukh” or this is the “Sukh sthan” in real sense.
